@thomas i'm stunned that they didn't bother to put up a barrier to prevent accidents like this very one
@BDA @thomas yeah, I mean it is pretty well trend idea of nets and sports. Also I feel like track side seating without is just risking so much
@Padres @thomas "we never expected that a group of people riding their bikes as fast as possible in a confined space would crash into each other"
@Padres @BDA several people got hurt but nothing serious. Even plexiglass or whatever would be fine if you want to keep those seats there
@thomas @Padres yeah i was thinking those barriers they have at hockey games would do the job fine
@BDA @Padres check the wider angle too. The guy really flew into the crowd
@BDA @Padres What if the Canadian guy made it back on the track though?
@thomas @BDA that would be something else
@Padres @BDA as I don’t know any differently I will believe he did
@thomas @BDA apparently this was the second crash today
@thomas @BDA @Padres those two boys in the middle still don't seem particularly fazed. I really like the kid in the ballcap who's clasping his head in horror though
@robotcarsley @BDA @Padres check out dad with the human shield
@thomas @robotcarsley @BDA I always figured that was a major selling point of kids, little shields from flying bicycles
@thomas @BDA yeah, hockey got the plexiglass and it is fine
Welcome to Allpro.social! Allpro is a place to discuss sports, sports related things, etc. General stuff is fine (if you're watching the game with friends, you don't *only* talk about the game after all), but try to keep on topic.
